Key tasks and responsibilities

Setup project

• Cluster planning and alignment
• Organize and moderate project kick-off including project milestones, change scopes, test strategy and test resources and software release plan
• Ensure milestones for specification, change request freeze and test drives
• Final call of change request approval
• Support monetary effort calculation

Control project progress and status

• Regular synchronization with test manager, function team coordinator regarding overall testing progress
• Control bug-fix status on supplier side incl. final call to bug-fix
• Ensure the overall ticket status and prioritize with the main stakeholders [EG/GQ/Functional teams]
• Lead ticket control board
• Lead and Organize regular project meetings
• Drive critical issues and actions plans to achieve the project goals
• Escalate top critical issues to top management
• Create overview of change request status with inputs of function teams and drive them for decision

Report weekly project status

• Create accumulated project status about e.g. highlights of the week, error statistics, bug-fix status of suppliers, change request implementation status
• Present current status to division head, director and other stakeholders incl. EG/GQ and Baureihe meetings
• Observe project risks and define and conduct countermeasures to ensure project targets and drive them to a final decision

Qualification and skills

Education background:

• Engineering degree in industrial, automotive, computer science engineering

Working experiences:

• 5+ years working experience
• 3 years in automotive business area

Technical / Professional skills:

• Basics understanding of SW Development

Linguistic ability:

• Fluent English skills
• Good German and Chinese is a plus
