The E/E-Integration and Architecture department empowers the Volkswagen group's R&D network and its brands' products in China. The overall goals are the successful function integration of hard- & software developments in China, boosting of China-specific requirements in automotive E/E-architecture concepts and yielding of new enabler technologies for future mobility for China.

Job Purpose/ Role

• You are responsible for the set-up, configuration and maintenance of test infrastructure including requirements analysis, concept development, design, implementation and commissioning of test engineering and test benches (HIL/SIL)

• Creation of implementation architectures, execution and coordination of modifications and extensions of the test engineering are part of your responsibility

• You ensure the fitting into the tool chains and/or overlapping usability

• You are in charge of the initial operation of test stand and test technology with real parts (control units, actuators, sensors, etc.), the integration and initial operation of test bench models as well as creation of test bench compilations

• You support the test operation, analysis and elimination of errors and are the contact person for the testers and departments

• Coordination of all test bench-specific topics, coordination of parts availability, scheduling and ensuring test readiness is also within the scope of your responsibilities

Qualification and skills

Education:

• Master- or Diploma degree in in electrical engineering, computer science, automotive engineering, mechatronics or equivalent (with a focus on software engineering, automotive engineering/vehicle electronics)

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in the (automotive) electronic industry or similar

• Expert knowledge in the field of testing regarding processes, methods, tools and technology

• Deep knowledge of test processes and testing of networked vehicle functions

• Expert knowledge in real-time simulation with dSPACE systems (Scalexio, Controldesk, ConfigurationDesk, etc.) and modeling in Matlab/Simulink

• Deep knowledge in a programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java, Phyton

• Expert knowledge in bus tracing and signal analysis with CANoe, CANanalyzer

• Expert knowledge of vehicle bus systems (LIN, CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)

• Experience in environment simulation of driver assistance systems (VTD, ADTF, etc.)

• Experience in agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, SAFE, etc.)

• Experience in the application of tools for Project management e.g. Jira

Skills:

• Convincing communication / argumentation / persuasiveness / negotiation skills

• High degree of creativity, initiative and willingness to perform

• High ability to solve problems, conflicts, and to achieve strategy aims in complex environment with the team

Language:

• Good command of spoken and written English & German

• Chinese helpful
