We are looking for a Manager, Data in Technology & Innovation department who is responsible for delivery & management of enterprise-wide data solutions. Working with our team of Technology & Innovation leaders the Manager of Data will design and deliver solution to handle business need for data coming from multiple source systems. This person will lead a team of data & Business Intelligence professionals in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The Manager, Data in Technology & Innovation department reports to the China Head of Technology & Innovation.

What You’ll Do

The Manager, Data role will be a leading technical expert for many innovative projects at Kerry. In this role, you will intensively involve in inhouse developed and vendor developed source data collection, transformation, and analysis. You will be responsible for the development and management of the data platform serving multiple business units reporting and data analytics need.

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

§ Responsible for data platform and source data extraction analysis, design, development, testing and system implementation and automation

§ Review system quality and deliver solution from end-to-end

§ Understand key business domain’s data models and business process flows to identify their interaction in the corporate data platform

§ Build data infrastructure for scalable data mart/ data warehousing/ data platform / data visualization and reporting solution for analytics purposes

§ Coordinate with other teams on interdependencies (upstream systems) that impact any of the data platforms

§ Manage projects and collaborate within and across the wider technology teams

§ Follow iterative system development life cycle methodologies

§ Self-management with adapts and leading the team to change in routine with positive attitude when working in fast paced situations

Who You’ll Work With

This role will have regular exposure to technology stakeholders and senior IT management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience designing and implementing high quality data warehouse / data mart solutions. This person possesses excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written) and capable of championing an architectural vision to meet and exceed business objectives.

Your professional experiences and key competencies would include, but not limited to:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in field
• 10+ years big data solution/data-warehouse/data-mart solution design and delivery experience using numerous relationship database technologies
• Decent experience with popular databases, for e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server
• Hands-on experience in data extraction and data transformation design and implementation by using python and Java will be a plus
• Hands-on experience in visualization reporting tools (i.e. Tableau)
• Sounds knowledge in cloud platform in China (AliCloud, Azure China, AWS China)
• Solid experience on big data platform, for e.g.: Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Kafka etc.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Candidate will be judged on ability to work effectively with project teams. The position requires constant communication with colleagues in different levels
