Merchandizing Specialist

  

Manage the Foreign–to-Foreign sales effort in the assigned accounts of certain region. This position will serve in a sales Management capacity for product sourced outside of the USA and shipped directly to the international retailer.

  

 

  

Report to: Merchandizing Manager

  

 

  

Job Function

  

l  Request of Proforma Invoice to Vendor or Order Processor.

  

l  Request and follow up, creation forms, material composition forms, and documents alike for retailer’s new product codification.

  

l  Send new proformas to retailer.

  

l  Follow up pending proformas approval.

  

l  Customer Attendance (e-mails, phone calls, messages etc.)

  

l  Intervene on name of retailer to solve issues such as container loads, price changes.

  

l  Be filter of drafts of printing materials such as UPC codes, artworks, shipping marks, special labels for imports.

  

l  Coordinate and follow up, approval of printing materials with retailers.

  

l  Work with different teams in AGD Asia/Panama Office/Oakbrook, for regular operation (Merchandising Team, Sourcing Team, OP team, Invoicing and Logistics, RDC, Finance team).

  

l  Handle and give follow up to Claims, with AGD Asia team.

  

l  Filing for (Order Documents, Exception Forms, Claim Forms, Deposit Approvals).

  

l  Order Trackers (Regular/Show/Canton Fair type).

  

l  Pre-Travel Preparation for RSMs/SAMs.

  

l  Post Travel tasks for retailer, based on RSM/SAM instructions. (Share programs, support in packaging negotiations, etc).

  

l  Have control of their accounts, in terms of orders status, proforma status, or others situations.

  

l  Track, follow up and push replenishment.

  

l  Monthly Follow up of Re-Orders with their accounts, based on previous year data.

  

l  Report Creation

  

l  Availability for possible business travel with RSM/SAM to support the operation.

  

 

  

Job Requirement

  

l  Bachelor degree or above with its major in BS/Trading/Marketing discipline.

  

l  More than 5 years trading industry relevant working experience, basic merchandising knowledge and good command of international trading process.

  

l  Be able to discuss business at all levels of customer management and vendor co-ordination when it is not handled by the sourcing team.

  

l  Excellent problem solving, communication interpersonal, negotiation skills and customer service mind-set.

  

l  Friendly positive attitude, independent, outgoing, pleasant personality, self-motivate, good team spirit and positive thinker.

  

l  Willing to take challenge and work under pressure.

  

l  Proficient in both oral and written English

  

l  Proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and so on

  

l  Knowledgeable about Asia pacific Market.

  

l  Travel requirements 20%
