职位描述


协助部门经理进行新市场调研, 新产品开发, 数据统计分析,要求英文流利,耐心仔细,吃苦耐劳, 能适应一定强度的海内外出差要求(疫情后)。

  

1.         POSITION PURPOSE:

  

 

  

The Int’l Business Development Product Analyst (BDPA) responsibility is to support the International Business Development Product Analyst (BDMM) and the International Business Development Vendor Manager (BDVM) with the necessary information for them to secure the right regional vendors for new markets where Ace International is launching a new retailer.

  

 

  

The role includes:

  

-        Identify product compliance requirements for new markets

  

-        Research Trade Agreements on new markets, to identify country of manufacturing advantages.

  

-        Support the BDMM and BDVM in the product opportunity calculation for new markets.

  

-        Develop multipliers for any potential market study.

  

-        Analyze potential vendor information submitted by the BDMM and BDVM versus existing categories (e.g. RSC and RDC) and programs (DS and FDM) from the competiveness perspective as long as there are not compliance requirement.

  

-        Support the SAM and the FDM team with the necessary information when developing a compliant program for a specific market.

  

-        Support the BDMM and BDVM in the category performance evaluations of new stores from rotation and margin perspective.

  

  

  

At all times the BDPA will support the NBMM and BDVM.

  

 

  

Ultimately, the BDPA will be responsible for vetting any proposed new vendor and supporting team members in development product compliant product.

  

 

  

2.         KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  

 

  

To successfully perform the role of regional merchandiser the individual must have the following:

  

·        3-5 years’ international business experience

  

·        3+ years’ importing and/or exporting experience

  

·        Product compliant experience strongly preferred

  

·        Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze individual components of any given product

  

·        Superior detail orientation and thoroughness

  

·        Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various internal departments

  

·        High degree of flexibility, initiative and ability to operate very independently

  

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  

·        Proficient in financial measures 

  

·        Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills

  

·        Multilingual requirement (English, others a plus)

  

·        Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  

·        Ability to travel 15% of the time

  

 

  

 

  

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:

  

 

                                                                 Rank of Importance        What    Do You Do?    (Major    Activities/Accountabilities – What    & How)       1      ·          Support   the NBMM and BDVM with trade agreements and product compliance requirements   information for new markets.   ·          Research   freight cost and other import cost and requirements in order to calculate a   multiplier for new markets evaluations.   ·          Calculate   margin opportunities on information collected by the NBMM and BDVM during   potential new markets evaluations.        2      ·          Vet   proposed new vendors insuring that their product complement and not duplicate   existing categories in grounds of specifications, compliance and margin.      3      ·          Support   team members in developing product compliant product, been the communication   channel between the Ace team and the retailer team.   ·          Follow   up with all the parties involve to insure that target dates are achieved.       4      ·          Support the NBMM and BDVM in the new store evaluation   after 8 months of grand opening, collecting information from the retailer and   comparing it against benchmark data. Identifying not performing categories.
