We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Principal responsibilities :
-Take technical engineering lead for GLCM RCMS team for Mainframe technology areas.
-Responsible for leading the POD team to complete impact analysis, solution design, system development and implementation, post implementation support for GLCM advising IT team.
-Provide project management for all Mainframe related projects especially in stakholder management skill, project tracking skill and resource management skill.
-Define potential system performance risk proactively and fine tune the system with workable solution.
-Ensure all activities performed within the team adhere to the group IT and security standards.
-Adopt and provide ongoing improvement on development process and promote usage of right tooling, especially in DevOps transformation for mainframe.
-Work closely with POD team in Agile mode to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities and drive technology change within/across teams.

Qualifications :
-Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science or related majors.
-Minimum of 10 years’ applied experience in IT industry.
-Tech lead experience is a must.
--Smooth writing and oral English communications is essential.
-Specialized experience in mainframe related development and support which having knowledge for COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, QSAM, ENDEVOR, CICS, SPUFI, File manager, C:D, MQ, TWS, R2DZ is essential.
-Well known Agile work model and principle to lead POD team and work productively is essential.
-Solid experience in project management (PMP) is a must.
-Strong knowledge in UK mainframe platform. e.g.: HSBCnet EAI layer knowledge which integrated between P/L layer and ESD systems is an advantage.
--The passion and ability to lead/motivate and develop technologist, including mentoring and coaching.
-Superior listening skills, ability to learn quickly, and willing to accept accountability for company and individual success.
-Extensive critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendation.
-Exceptional team player that can lead others in demonstrating initiative and sound business judgment and is interested in expanding skills and growing professionally.
-Highly flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment.
What additional skills will be good to have?
-Knowledge in commercial banking business area is a plus.
-Strong sense in Mainframe system performance risk management is a plus.
-Knowhow in Mainframe DevOps transformation technology is an advantage
