Based in Shanghai, the ideal candidate plays an active role in driving commercial success and market performance of Delta's APAC portfolio. Key areas of responsibility:

    

1. Business Development: This position will be responsible for supporting in-depth, data-driven performance diagnoses and plans to formulate and implement BD initiatives, both strategic and tactical, to improve both China & APAC P&L
2. Commercial: Serves as a liaison between Sales and Commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, formulate short- and long-term strategic goals, and develops tracking mechanism towards achieving those goals
3. Partnership: Drives Delta Air Lines & China Eastern Airlines cross-commercial collaborations across areas of Alliances, Sales, Network, Marketing, Operations, etc.
4. Analytics: Responsible for not only data extraction, manipulation, reporting, and statistical and quantitative analysis but for channeling the results and developing strategic initiatives in line with divisional objectives 
5. Stakeholder Management: This position will collaborate closely with Delta colleagues in Alliances, Pricing, Revenue Management, Network Planning, etc. – both in APAC as well as in the U.S.
6. Communication/presentation: Develops strong communication and processes to help commercial teams achieve their goals and performance objectives; Present analysis to senior leaders which clearly outlines objectives and recommendations

      

Trainee program:

    

1. Ideal candidate must have stronng analytical background, BD & project management skills, and sound English proficiency (both written and verbal)
2. Trainee will receive first-hand experience to learn the airline business, develop strong analytical and BD skills, develop interpersonal/presentation skills
3. Dependent upon individual performance, trainee will be placed on the path to promote into full-time employment with Delta
