Business Title: Quality Improvement Supervisor

Report to: Site Manager

 

Job Summary (primary purpose):  

Standardize/streamline the process, identify the risks/issues to improve quality, and develop automation tools to serve the function needs

 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with site manager and functional manager for continuous process and productivity improvement.

• Deliver basic six sigma / lean training to employees.

• Design, develop, document and test VBA code to automate manual processes. 

• Document end user operating procedures or work instruction for newly developed tools

• Maintain, support and develop enhancements to the current tools for better performance.

• Support each function with their changing requirements and needs for process improvement.

• Collaborate with other staff and business stakeholders reviewing, testing and piloting new tools

• Provide technical recommendations to the business analysts/leads

• Assist in data calls by collecting, interpreting and consolidating data from various sources, provide basic reporting

• And conduct data analysis for improvement, support each functions with their metrics development.

• Participate in and prepare presentations to management and internal stakeholders
  
  

Requirements

Work Experience

• 2+ years VBA design and development experience

• Process improvement knowledge and successful implement large process improvement project

• Automation tools design

• Process improvement related working experience in global firm.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor degree as a minimum

• At least a certified Green belt and Black belt is preferred.

   

Skills & Knowledge & Abilities

• Expert in VBA, Excel and Access. 

• Fluent English communication, Korean or Japanese is a plus.

• Creativity, flexibility and customer-orientation in addition to strong verbal and written communication skills

• Good analytical ability

• Good at process redesign and leveraging new technology for digital tranformaiton.

•  Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task

• Must be an initiative-taker and possess ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also be able to collaborate and work in a larger team environment

• Willing to take challenge and aiming high
