The Role: This role will be responsible for multi brand demand planning of defined channels, markets, or the entire APAC region (depending on the forecast level). The candidate will be responsible for building & managing a phased demand forecast based on multiple internal and external inputs for multiple brands. This demand plan will be followed through to supply planning execution and subsequent inventory planning.

Responsibility:

+ Creating forecasts from commercial targets at the relevant level (product or category)

+ Owning & running monthly demand reviews, including validation of all relevant inputs to build future forecasts – feeding into a wider business S&OP

+ Input into channel range merchandise planning where necessary

+ Working closely with the category planning team for short, medium & long-term forecasts for capacity & material planning

+ Converting the demand plan into a monthly supply plan, ensuring that the relevant inventory management policies are in place to maximise availability and minimize stock risk

+ Full understanding of short to medium term marketing plans with analysis of previous promotional performance, to understand the impact on demand plans

+ Monitoring stock levels; identifying and acting upon any availability challenges or highlighting excess stock situations

+ Constantly considering opportunities for stock utilization across channels / regions

+ Provide regular forecasts to 3PL for capacity & resource planning

+ Work individually and cross functionally on continuous improvement initiatives

+ Support price negotiations for new services and ad hoc requests from the brands

+ Take responsibility for participating in regional / global projects

+ APAC Planning team; Demand Planning, Customer Operations, DC & Fulfilment, Shipping, Finance.

+ APAC commercial managers (ecomms, wholesale, retail)

+ APAC Product team

+ Global Category Planning

+ APAC 3PLs

The must haves:

+ Previous experience in a role working with supply and/or demand planning

+ Knowledge and experience in global supply chain management

+ Knowledge of buying processes and forecasting methodologies

+ Advanced skills in Excel and how to manipulate the data to produce analysis

+ Convincing data presentation, tailored to specific audiences

+ Understanding of forecasting, merchandising, production processes

+ Knowledge of S&OP

+ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

+ Keen attention to detail

+ Experience of working in multi-functional and multi-geographical environment

+ Exposure in ERP systems, preferably SAP. Blue Yonder (or similar) advantageous

+ English & Mandarin language competence at business level
