ORDERS MANAGEMENT POSITION

The Company

Since before 2005 AL.EA. cooperates with several suppliers on daily basis, we are specialized in the manufacturing and export of mechanical Aluminum casting and other semi-finished products. The company has its Headquarters in Italy (15-20 people) and its Representative office in Shanghai (5-10 people).

Job description

We are looking for an additional member for our purchasing department. The candidate must have previous experience in a similar company, good knowledge of the main shipping procedures and related documents. The main task is to follow the orders from sending the PO to suppliers to the shipment.

Main responsibilities

Send the new orders to suppliers, ask for PI and delivery time

Check carefully the information on the PI

Follow the production status and ready date

Make a good shipment plan

Arrange the quality inspection time

Communicate with the suppliers to make the booking with the forwarders once the goods are ready

After the shipment collect the necessary shipping documents and invoices from the suppliers 

Main characteristics we are looking for in a canditate

Familiar with the main shipping terms and procedures

Able to deal with several suppliers

Well-organized and attentive to details

Knowledge of import export terms

Previous experience in an import export company, shipping company or similar

Negotiation skills

Able to follow the order in all the steps from the beginning until the end

Open minded

Can take responsibility
