职位描述
1. Overall Purpose
? To assist the management in achieving the Ocean and Logistics & Services business plan targets, productivity standards, market share targets, and oversight of market development in Greater China Area and as well to assure customer satisfaction & budget target from Key Accounts.
2. Dimensions
? To fulfill Greater China Area Ocean and Logistics & Service business plan of total volume & total CM, INSTANT booking and SI target which is subject to quarterly review or when required.
? To Fulfill own Business plan of total Ocean and Logistics & Services volume & total CM, INSTANT booking and SI target which is subject to quarterly review.
3. Key Accountabilities (Priority and Percentage)
? Customer Visit / Salesforce report: 60% = 24 hours / week (40 hrs X 60%).
? E-mail communication (General): 15%.
? Solicit market intelligence/best practice: 10%.
? Rate quotation: 10 %.
? INSTANT Service promote (E-Booking / SI): 5%.
? Meet or exceed Sales objectives of assigned territory by promoting and selling Hamburg Sud services to Direct accounts, NVOCC’s, Freight Forwarders, Trading Companies and other channels through professional sales skill and long-term customer relationship.
? Make at least 15-20 quality sales calls each week on target and existing accounts.
? Make minimum weekly 10 export sales lead, with quality information.
? Closely follow up and quality/timely service to with Global/key Accounts assigned and timely handling of all emails.
? Manage the vessel space utilization to assigned level and also with cargo with better CM.
? To prepare a customer profile and submit to senior for any joint call.
? Probe customer’s requirement professionally and recommend action to tackle and as well record visit outcome/ action plan in CPM with also regular follow up.
? Produce reliable forecast for Logistics & Service / Ocean cargo / equipment / port pair volume (long terms / Short terms).
? Ensure support other departments, Regional Ocean Management and oversea offices / agents to achieve the business plan and ad hoc task with due consideration of company bottom line and customer requirement.
? Initiate the key coordination/dialogue with sales team at China LBU/agent for the assigned tradelane.

? Regional Ocean Management Team – Rate application, Space allocation.
? Logistics & Services Product Team – Rate application
? Customer Experience Team – Updated schedule, rate quotation, early / late come application, SI Cut-off, Bill of Lading issue, COV, COD, Roll-over list, Logistics &Services order arrangement, free storage & detention for import shipment.
? Account Department – Credit & outstanding freight follow-up.
OUTSIDE:
? Competition / Trade association: Market intelligence/best market practice.
? Global / Key Account Contact: Ensure our competitiveness and update their requirement.
? INSTANT - exchange views / implementation, and drive INSTANT in Great China Area.
(B) Decision Making
Sales Department: Cargo Roll over.
? More communication with different customers (Face to Face).
5. Competencies (Knowledge, skills and attributes)
? Fluency at oral / writing English
? Microsoft Office knowledge
? Mandarin is an advantage
6. Minimum Qualification and Experience
? Matriculated and preferable tertiary education
? 5 years Sales experience in logistic/ supply chain industry.
