Position Summary: Briefly describe the primary purpose and function of this position.

• The Manager Engineering HW Project Office is member of SBU HW/ME department to realize automotive IVI and Cockpit systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Please indicate the number of direct reports and/or number of indirect reports.

Direct reports: 3~5

Job Responsibilities: List the professional and/or technical competencies needed when performing the key responsibilities of the position.  Explain the degree to which this position affects the business (i.e. making decisions, defining or setting strategy, etc.). ·    Lead the Project Office team disciplinary and technically

·    Resource and budget planning

·    Responsible for assigned projects and development tasks and contents regarding fulfillment of time schedule, quality and platform conformity

·    Prepare  and realize hardware related contents for RFI and RFQ-Phases

·    Monitor and control given Methods & Standards for project reporting (e.g. effort estimation, reporting of projects status, Strategic Project list (Milestones), Product Flyer, Cockpit Charts, BOM estimates and calculation)

·    Responsible for task and project planning and prioritization

·    Support customer presentations and negotiations

·    Interface towards internal customers (CPMs, CBUs, Manufacturing and Quality)

·    Taskforce lead  (if necessary)

Basic Qualifications: List the minimum and desired education (including degrees, licenses, certification or registrations) and experience needed to perform the key responsibilities of the position.

·    University degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or appropriate graduation)

·    At least 5 years of experience in project or line management and Automotive requirements

·    Ability to manage teams with multi-cultural backgrounds and in several countries

·    Consolidated knowledge in HW components as well as connection of HW components

·    Know-how and experience in HW/SW interfacing, production technology and

capability as well as mechanical integration

·    Ability to motivate and communicate at multiple levels within the organization incl. management level

·    Target / results orientation, networking skills and team playing capability

·    Fluent in English, both technical and commercial

·    Willingness to travel
