Job responsibilities

    

    

v  Product range: seasonal articles (both hardgoods and apparel)

    

v  Support the process of order management from buying finalization until delivery in NL

    

v  Creating and monitoring purchase orders (track&trace)

    

v  Optimizing the conditions and quantities in purchase orders

    

v  Maintaining master data relevant to purchase orders.

    

v  Communicate on a daily base with suppliers and agents, logistic forwarder, HEMA HQ and HEMA warehouse in order to achieve all deadlines in the total supply chain process.

    

v  Monitor the supplier delivery performance and set up Corrective Action Plans with worst performing suppliers

    

v  Push suppliers to achieve the sustainably packaging targets (minimize use of plastic/carton)

    

v  Perform ad-hoc supply chain projects as assigned by the management.

    

    

Requirements

    

    

v  Bachelor degree (minimum)

    

v  2-3 years of planning experience in retail

    

v  Affinity with supply chain and knowledge of order management process in retail business

    

v  Preferred experience in European Buying office

    

v  Positive, hands-on mentality, independent, proactive and international minded

    

v  Willingness and capability to learn on the job

    

v  The ability takes on a variety of tasks, while maintaining a high standard of output.

    

v  Problem solving skills

    

v  Highly responsible and self-initiative and a good team player.

    

v  Able to work under pressure

    

v  Accurate, analytical, structured and flexible person

    

v  Experience with office, excel and SAP

    

v  Good spoken/written English and Mandarin skills

    

v  Immediate availability is preferred
