We are a dynamically growing trading and production company with branches in Bratislava, Munich, Shanghai and Vienna. For our customers in the fields of mechatronics, automotive and automation, we procure electronic components, plastic and metal parts from Asia and Eastern Europe and manufacture assemblies in Bratislava.

To support our team in Shanghai we are looking for an immediate entry of a

PROCESS ENGINEER SURFACE TREATMENT (m/f)

with focus on nickel/zinc plating, pickling, anodizing, painting and other surface treatment processes for metal products.

Area of responsibility

• Define, evaluate, and improve surface treatment processes with suppliers
• Design and develop coating fixtures, jigs, reels and related equipment
• Define process technology/parameters with supplier for new projects
• Conduct process audits at suppliers to ensure stable production quality
• Evaluate supplier’s corrective actions stated in 8D report and follow up until corrective actions are well established and verified, as well as inspection standard is updated
• Actively involvement in evaluation/selection of new suppliers

Your profile

• Deep knowledge of the following processes: nickel/zinc plating, pickling, anodizing
• At least five years working experience as process engineer/quality engineer responsible for surface treatment processes.
• Willing to travel multiple days a week to suppliers mainly located in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, but partly also in other provinces
• Native Chinese
• Very good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
• Quality management experience advantageous (FMEA, 8D)
• Experience in testing coating/cleaning parameters
• Must have a positive attitude and should be a good team player
• Responsible for providing and updating to the process documentations
