Technical Sales - for a premium German brand from seed industry (Company Benary)

(location in Shanghai preferred, could be other major cities)

Job Responsibility:

- In general be responsible for technical support to local sales colleagues and national key accounts such as brokers, young plant companies and growers in China

- Organize technical training seminars for sales people and growers

- Define and implement national sampling protocols for existing products and upcoming breeding

- Plan and execute national technical support campaigns of core products

- Work independently and report to the German headquarters directly

- Have good interaction with the Product Manager in Germany and the Technical Support Manager in North America

- Develop and select sales partners in allocated regions

- Gather market information about competitors, counterfeits, projects etc.

Qualification and Requirement:

- Age 27-45, based in Shanghai or in another major city, bachelor degree in horticulture or related discipline

- Minimum 5 years’ technical sales experience for European horticultural products, preferably in flower or vegetable seed industry

- Be “hands-on” and capable to provide entire crop-regimes to growers and young plant companies

- Good command of oral/written English

- Brand-oriented attitude, with good knowledge of technical sales

- Active, outgoing character with good interpersonal communication skills

- Willing to travel in China and to Germany
