The Systems Engineering Manager will be based in Shanghai ZhangJiang.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Lead safety actuator controller system engineering activities
• Act as technical leader during project quote and execution. Lead the team to evaluate technical feasibility, find out solutions and implement.
• Act as technical interface to customer. Analyze & clarify customer’s requirements and cascade system level requirements into subsystem requirements, maintain requirement traceability through product development.
• Regular customer visits w/ sales team for technical support, project bidding or relationship maintenance.
• Work with DPM to coordinate internal development activities.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

·        10+ years of automotive development experiences.

·        Good understanding of safety actuator markets like i-booster & EPS.

·        Good experiences of BLDC/PMSM motor control technology including system level performance, complex driver algorithm etc. Good understand of FOC.

·        Preferred to have HW/SW background. Systematic understanding of multiple design disciplines, including but not limited to EE, SW, mechanical, validation, quality, integration & test etc.

·        Good understanding of functional safety design.

·        Familiar w/ mostly used protocols, eg. SCI, UART, SPI, LIN, CAN, I2C, KWP2000, UDS etc.

·        Good at mostly used debug tools, eg. CANoe, CANalyzer, oscilloscope etc.

·        Familiar with the automotive standards, such as APQP process, IATF 16949, ISO 7637, ASPICE etc.

·        OK to travel domestically in China or to International locations.

·        Strong leadership and take responsibility.

·        Good cooperation and communication skills.

·        Willing to continuously learn new technologies.

·        Thinking and judge from systematic perspective.

·        Outstanding communication skills in both Chinese & English.

• Experiences in EPS, i-booster mass production especially for global OEMs.
• HW/SW design experiences especially for BLDC/PMSM control.
• 5+ years of team management experiences.
