• Carry out work in accordance with company Safety and Environment Policies;
• Collect, record, and communicate experimental data;
• Communicate the status of projects and barriers that could hinder project success in a timely manner to TSM, lab supervisor or line manager;
• Operate test equipment and procedures;
• Responsible for latex product QC (for mainly the TSM requested SBR grades or analysis work which the QC equipment will be used) and application testing for both domestic and global markets, as well as technical service testing for specific customer problems;
• Significant responsibilities will include support of scale up and commercialization activities, including such responsibilities as troubleshooting scale up problems and working to meet new products’ end-use performance requirements;
• Other tasks as assigned by TSM, lab supervisor or line manager;
• Ensure consistent and good quality of work and documentations;
• Comply with official quality certifications e.g. ISO standards, 5S requirement etc.;
• Maintain assigned lab equipment and calibrate per fixed schedule;
• Support to maintain and keep the essential lab consumables;

· Get familiar with all the company systems including but not limited on C4C, LabDB etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of laboratory experience with good analytical skills;
• Self-starter. Work as both a team member and an individual contributor;
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment;
• Demonstrated flexibility in job assignments;
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn new tasks, concepts and applications;
• Capability of working in a fast-paced environment;
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel;
• Good written and oral communication skills both in English and Chinese;
• Detail oriented.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in chemistry, Physics or Polymer science;
• Proficiency in Microsoft application products;
• General chemical laboratory experience;
• Basic knowledge on lab equipment operation and maintenance;
• Knowledge of statistical analysis;
• Familiarity with ISO and Process Safety Management.
• Good communication skill and interpersonal understanding;

• Initiative and strong team player.
