the GaN front_end (FE) R&D technology group of Ampleon in Shanghai. In this group Ampleon is developing world leading RF GaN technologies that enable Ampleon’s highly advanced RF power products. It is a multi-disciplinary team consisting, including program and project leads, process integration engineers, epi engineers, device physicists, process yield, and process reliability engineers. You will be working at the forefront of leading edge GaN technology for mobile communication.

A look into the life of a GaN Process & Yield Engineer

The GaN Process and Yield Engineer is responsible for fundamental understanding and reduction of GaN front-end process parameter spread.

Your challenge

• Drives process capability improvements to improve technology stability and achieve best-in-class process yield.
• Works with a multi-disciplinary technology team applying advanced statistical data analysis methodology to various sources of data to identify correlations and support root cause finding for process improvements.
• Analysis and documentation of process technology capability.
• Leads and participates in 8D teams to solve processing issues.
• Supports the implementation of process control strategies for new process flows.
• Analysis of data provided by GaN processing foundry (PCM- and in-line data) and correlation with wafer- and product data (DC and RF)
• Keeping knowledge of technical developments in the relevant areas up to date

Your Profile

? At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry and with a proven track record in manufacturing

? Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics

? A solid knowledge of semiconductor device physics and processing, preferably in GaN technology.

? Excellent problem-solving skills (six-sigma and 8D-approach)

? Experience in statistical methodologies and tools to analyze large amount of data

? Experience with statistical process control and designs of experiments.

? Investigative professional with a strong desire for improvements

? Excellent communication skills

? Focused on result and time to market

? Fluent in business English, verbal and written, Mandarin speaking
