Responsibilities:

• Identify materials as per specifications, samples, or requirements of customers.
• Quote for RFQs timely, track feedbacks regularly and report out the result weekly and monthly.
• Assist sales to win competitive biddings by thoroughly communicating with sales teams and studying market conditions.
• Develop alternative materials to those required by customers.
• Develop alternative vendors to existing ones when necessary.
• Identify strategic suppliers and assist sourcing manager to develop it.
• Maintain relationships with vendors to obtain competitive cost, terms and conditions.
• Work together with buyer team for purpose of cost reduction & avoidance.
• Introduce new materials and new vendors into the system.
• Maintain raw materials data in the system to make sure high accuracy of the data base.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in chemistry is must.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing of chemicals raw materials.
• Familiar with import and export business.
• Knowledge of international logistics.
• Good business sense.
• Speak fluent English.
• Familiar with ERP.
