PURPOSE & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  

The main role of this position is responsible for lab synthesis experiments to support regional projects. It supports performance coatings team through execution of products quality improvement, new source qualification, assisting technology transfer and new products development.

  

 

  

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

• Carry out hands on lab experiments according to projects priorities with detailed record the experiments process and samples testing results.

• Assist in smooth functioning of laboratory by ensuring highest standard of laboratory safety, housekeeping, security, equipment maintenance and accuracy of test data.

• Manage the inventory of lab samples and raw materials.

   

  REQUIRMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

          

• Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or similar. 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in lab experiments, sample testing, particular in polymer and coatings area.
• Ability to communicate conclusions and outcomes of projects and experiments.
• Knowledge and experience with safe laboratory practices and sound scientific methodology.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and procedures.
• Proficient user of MS Office software, SAP, Other business software.
• Ability to read, write English. Basic English speaking is a plus.
