Job Summary:

-          Act as category manager for sourcing activities including Retail consulting, manufacture or related business needs.

-          Ensure Global Procurement strategy/policy has been well executed and bidding process had been strictly followed.

-          Responsible for Continuously Improvement Plan to drive supplier operation effectiveness and reliability, quality, innovations and reduction in total cost of ownership. 

  

Key Responsibilities:

-          Co-develop sourcing strategy to fulfill business and product needs

-          Cooperation with global sourcing team to follow/achieve saving project/target

-          Execute bidding process for new/refresh SKUs

-          Organize and lead supplier cross-functionally in the qualification and ongoing audit of supply base.

-          Responsible for reports/documentation 

-          Partner closely with Ops, Engineering & Quality, etc. to support product development

-          Build successful relationship with suppliers, assist on supplier evaluation work

-          Other sourcing related job assigned

  

Requirements:

-          BA/BS degree in Economics /Business administration / Supply Chain/ English; above will be a plus

-          At least three years of sourcing, merchandising or relate procurement area

-          Finished goods experience (Grills or heaters) will be a plus;

-          Logical thinking and data analysis skills

-          Good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

-          Good speaking/writing skill in English and fluent Mandarin

-          Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Currently, Traeger Pellet Grills, LLC is seeking a Product Development Engineer at our Salt Lake City, UT headquarters.
 
This role will be responsible for ensuring designs of new products are correctly implemented through our international OEM/ODM partners and suggests design improvements to existing products. Evaluates current and proposed products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability, ensuring successful project completion based on set targets. Works with other members of the product and operations team to ensure that projects are completed at cost and on time, with the highest possible quality.
