职位描述

Under general supervision of the Visual Communication Manager, the suitable candidate will require extensive knowledge of specialized, multi-faceted design concepts and media to coordinate the development of a wide range of electronic and/or printed graphic materials. The Graphic Designer creates complex, original graphic designs, comprehensive layout concepts, design and shooting proposals, as well as oversees and coordinates the production of these design-materials.
岗位职责

? Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and produces a wide range of specialized graphic, illustrative, material, as well as general visual directions for still-life photo-shootings.
? Works with clientele and department account to ascertain design needs and to develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for assigned projects.
? Conducts visual market research while providing insight into recommended directions for specific project development.
? Creates clear presentations showing clarity of design intentions and opportunities.
? Creates storyboards and concepts used for developing animated videos.
? Plans basic production schedules for the various steps in the design process; analyzes and forsees development and workflow.
? Identifies, selects, and recommends vendors for printing and publication services, as appropriate to the project.
? Oversees and coordinates the production process; develops and writes printing and/or other production specifications, and selects appropriate production media and materials, such as ink and paper; inspects proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
? Provides technical advice and guidance, and serves as liaison with production personnel, authors, publishers, clients, and/or printing representatives on design and technical graphics issues.
? May coordinate a graphics or photographic library and/or maintain digital records.
? Performs miscellaneous design-related duties as assigned by Visual Communication Manager.
任职要求

Minimum Job Requirements
? At least 5 years of experience in a design agency/fashion house
? High school diploma or GED;
? Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution
? Must have fashion and luxury brand knowledge
? An understanding of the principles of post production/printing process
?Fluent in Chinese and English (French is a plus)
?Understanding of graphic design and design process.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
? Knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design.
? Ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment.
? Ability to identify and interpret graphic design needs of the briefing and develop creative and responsive design concepts that meet and surpass expectations.
?Ability to turn rough drafts into detailed design output.
? Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
?Ability to develop complex, integrated design, printing, and/or reproduction specifications.
? Ability to compile and prepare graphic production schedules, and work-plans.
? Knowledge of available external graphic design, printing, publication, and associated resources.
?Passion and design sensibility.
