Job Description:

Datacenter Platform Engineering & Architect Group (DPEA) is looking for talents for Platform Integration to secure the SW quality by continuous integration. In this position, you will be responsible for driving the integration solutions of software and hardware on Intel server platforms to secure the quality of SW release. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
o Implement the SW continuous integration plan and weekly build/execution/release for Intel server products with relevant ingredient teams, including BIOS, FW, ME, drivers, Operation Systems etc.
o Play as a gate keeper of the project to ensure a quality release to internal and external customers;
o Drive sightings for closure by proactive physical work and/or coordination with relevant stakeholders on defect duplication and investigation.
Perform sighting analysis and summarize systemic IPU key learnings and feedback to stakeholders (PIV, Ingredient teams, DCPAE, etc.) for repeat prevention in next gen product platforms.
o Closely work with PRT tech lead for new test contents development, porting, automation enabling.
o Closely collaborate with Intel silicon enabling, firmware development, and various components teams including storage, network, power & performance, I/O and silicon debug teams to troubleshoot and debug cross-discipline and complex integration issues on server platforms
o Contribute to validation team on improving test plan/method to validate features and verify fixes

Qualifications:

- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technology with 6+ years of applicable industry experience; Or bachelor in above mentioned area with 8+ years of applicable industry experience.
- Deep understanding of CPU micro-architecture, firmware, platform hardware and software technologies such as BIOS, RAS and security features.
- Through understanding of Operating System architectures with hands-on experience on server/ system software development and/ or validation: BMC, firmware, kernel, OS.
- Proven capability to debug complex hardware/software issues related to BIOS, OS, Hardware, as well as cross domain interaction.
- Creative thinker and proven track of record as a strong technical problem solver.
- Excellent communication skills who can effectively influence technical experts in PRT/microarchitecture/server ingredient teams.
- Be familiar with validation & debug tools such as ITP, I2C bus analyzers, CScripts, IDVT, Intel SSU, and system logs.
