Provide customer facing applications support involving RF products (amplifiers, mixers, switches, mmWave beamformers and future products) within the complete product portfolio of the RF business.

 

Generate final datasheets for specific RF products. This entails co-ordination of the characterization, specification table and typical operating curves from multiple groups in IDT and assembling into a final datasheet prior to product release. Write application notes needed for a successful product release.

Provide technical leadership and assistance to the R&D design team. Monitor and support development of new RF products for responsible products.

 

Assist in trouble shooting customer system boards and any returned parts for failure analysis.

Help provide the appropriate training to our FAEs and sales engineers.

Support product marketing managers on developing product family roadmap concept and application roadmap.

Generate and deliver technical reports and presentations to customers, outside sales people and internal engineering and management groups.

职位要求：

B.S.E.E or M.S.E.E .

7+ years of experience in the field of RF circuit design, RF product applications engineering and/or RF systems design/integration.

  

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

Solid understanding of RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits

Able to translate RF system requirements to components specifications and vice versa

Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to prioritize

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

High energy, driven-to-succeed personality

 

MUST have:

Strong understanding and working knowledge of RF Test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and Generators

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Ability to travel to domestic and international customer sites occasionally (25%)

Proficiency in MS Office software (especially Excel)

Proficiency in English language

 

If you have, it will be a PLUS:

Understand RF system is a plus (such as base station, smartphone, or test instrument)

Experience with PCB layout is a plus

Experience with script programming language (such as Python) is a plus, Experience with ATE programming is a plus

Experience with ADS, MWO, Genesys or HFSS is a plus
