JOB DIMENSIONS
Project Launch Manager is a position mainly in charge of coordinating the relevant business about new products launch and manages the product change.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Planning
? Budgeting
? Receives minimal supervision – once/week to once/month as needed
? People leadership and teambuilding
? Customer interface
? Exhibits good communication skills
? Lead new product launches that have new technologies from concept to production.
? Creates process flow chart for new products
? Leads cross functional teams in the effort of analyzing manufacturing data for the purpose of
implementing difficult continuous improvement activities.
? Interprets complex design changes and leads the effort to incorporate the change into manufacturing
? Complete Green Belt training and support the facility’s GB initiatives as mandated.
? Travel to other TRW sites, customer sites or supplier sites to provide support or execute instructions
as provided by management or senior engineering leadership.

ACTIVITIES
? Meet Performance expectations for the Project Launch Manager , in addition to the following :
? Independently leads assignments with instructions as to general results expected. Receives
technical guidance on unusual or complex problems & supervisory approval on proposed plans for
project.
? Innovative with new approaches to problems, systems, or situations.
? Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in part of a major
project or in a total project of moderate to large scope.
? Understands risks associated with complex science and engineering solution alternatives in addition
to business related risks. Capable of independently identifying risk mitigation alternatives.
? Performs work that involves common engineering practice that includes a variety of complex
features. Requires minimum level supervision contact from manager

任职要求：
Technical Skills:
? Bilingual in Chinese and English.
? Ability to combine various techniques to design a new system, product, process, or services needed
for business
? Solve Problems with highly effective solutions. Provides technical & philosophical guidance to others.
Challenges existing paradigm resulting in large quantifiable improvements.
? Familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS WORD, MS EXCEL, VISIO, MS PROJECT, MS
POWERPOINT). Should have a working understanding of relational database use and be able to
operate in a networked and web environment. Capable of creating specifications for the development
of manufacturing software applications.
? Familiarity with automotive industry process and tools such as TS16949, APQP,PPAP,SPC,MSA etc
Project Skills:
? The ability to manage & propose both large and small projects. This may include managing technical
& engineering personnel.
? Understands the capital expenditure process and authors, justifies, and manages capital
appropriations.

Leadership Skills:
? Clear leader in technical & team applications. A resource for other project leaders. Defines project
approaches & optimizes systems. Manages multiple projects & resources through project life cycle as
a cross-functional system implementation leader.
? Develops business process/procedures (technical & otherwise) and justifies improvement projects.
Experience in more than one functional area.
