Purpose of position:

Responsible for the PCB documentation by collecting requirements from other teams and departments. Additionally, support and guide other design team members to a cost optimized solution.

Act as main contact window to suppliers as technical expert who agrees material usages, applied processes and validation requirements for the PCB.

Responsibilities:

1. Definition and selection of PCBs for electronic assemblies in cooperation with the HW development team (controllers, mechatronics, LED assemblies) according customer requirements and project targets

2. Coordination of PCBs specification and qualification with manufacturers

3. Planning and coordination of the qualification of PCBs in the context of project validation

4. Definition of PCB standards with the AL/MM requirements

5. Coordination of the causes of PCB failures with manufacturers and electronic manufacturing

6. Cooperation in an international association of hardware developers, designers, layouts, quality assurance, purchasing and manufacturing partners

7. Main responsibility is the support of all Asian developments

Qualifications:

1. University diploma or above in Electronic Engineering or related majors

2. At least 5 years work experiences in automotive industry, minimum 3 years in PCB-design, -manufacturing or PCB process related areas

3. Very good know-how in all PCB technologies for electronic devices

4. Multiannual relevant experience in the development and production process of PCBs and their application

5. Experience with automotive development processes and related procedures

6. Excellent command of spoken and written English

7. Good communication skills

8. Coordination experience
