Job Objectives:
?Define the sensor requirements according to usecases, drive the camera sensor roadmap for the mobile phone application processor platform, work with the team through sensor and ISP co-design to achieve the best image and video quality and performance.
Main Responsibilities:
?Work with the sensor vendor to define and drive the CMOS sensor roadmap including the resolution, pixel pattern, the pixel sensing and color filter characteristics, and processing functions.
?Work with the internal team and external vendors to define signal processing job partition and interface between sensor and ISP.
?Research and explore sensor design optimized for various usecases for mobile devices including extremely low power, high frame rate, HDR, camera array, and computer vision.

Requirements:
?MS/PhD in relevant field (EE, CS, Optics, Physics), with 8+ years work experience.
?5+ years of hands-on experience with sensor hardware design, sensor evaluation, and characterization.
?Deep understanding of image sensor design trade-offs, manufacturing complexities, and characterization methodologies
?Deep understanding of modern camera sensor and imaging processing technologies including ISP
?Familiarity with the novel camera and sensing solutions (2D, 3D imaging, computational imaging)
?Highly analytical skills in feasibility analysis, evaluation, concept development, and system design parameter optimization.
?Great communication skills, Fluent in English reading and writing
