Role and Responsibility:

As key member of the R&D team, he/she will:

- Participate in definition of new product development, especially to define the system requirements specification by transferring the product requirement from marketing to engineering team, construct the system architecture, and assist the project manager to define the technical milestones

- Hands on system design for new product development, including implementing the specific system/module design based on his/her expertise, driving the discussion on concept defining, feasibility study, and detailed design etc., and leading the technical team to implement Design for Reliability

- Compose and sustain the system-wise technical documents according to the design control process

- Work with cross-functional team to ensure product design meets the requirement for manufacturing, cost, service and regulation

Essential Requirement:

- Master degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical or Electronic)

- Solid hands-on design experience as mechanical engineer or electronic engineer at least 10 years, expert on control engineering/control system simulation.

- More than 5 years experience in large-scale mechatronics control system design including robotic arm, automation pipeline or similar field.

- Good knowledge on requirement management.

- Good English communication ability (verbal and written)

- Must be a team player

Desired Qualification:

- Conceptual design experience, like design and development for medical devices or life science product

- A positive attitude towards team working incl. intercultural competence with structured and systematic work method

- Good knowledge and experience in Design for Six Sigma (process and tools)

- Good problem solving skill (root cause analysis, FMEA, etc.) and technical communication ability

- Global collaboration experience in matrix organization

- Well know the medical deveice related regulatories, such as ISO 13485, FDA Title 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 14971, IEC 61010-1 etc.
