作为一个年营业额45亿欧元的多方位公共事业公司， HERA集团不仅仅是在废弃物处理项目的设计、投资和建设方面具有非常突出的业绩，在运营和维护方面也同样有非常高水平的技术和多年的经验积累。
 
HEPT公司在中国的***个项目，是为吴江太湖工业废弃物处理有限公司设计并建造的，一个处理能力为30000吨/年的危险废弃物焚危险废弃物焚烧处理厂。
 
依据欧盟标准和技术进行设计，同时参照HERA集团多年丰富的设计、建造和运营经验，该厂将成为中国***的，同样也是技术最先进和运行最稳重的危险废弃物处理厂之一。
 
对于危险废弃物的处理，将从进入回转窖（瑞士公司设计）之前的废弃物准备、检查和兼容性考察等方面开始；焚烧生成的产物将在烟气净化系统（意大利公司设计）中得到处理，经过净化后的烟气能达到欧盟2000排放准备。
 
高温烟气的热量回收，将通过一个非常特殊的锅炉（意大利公司设计）得以实现。它能够***限度的进行能量回收，产生高温蒸汽，供给附近工厂作为其生产能源。
