Core Responsibilities:

1.     Ensure a consistent strategic and organizational setup of maintenance in the plants of the respective region. Supports the global maintenance by maintenance concept implementation and governance. Manage the regional maintenance topics as a central point of contact for all strategic maintenance topics. Keep a strong focus on availability improvement and overall optimization.

2.     Supports the development of maintenance process landscape. As a process coordinator also responsible for the training and implementation of global maintenance process landscape according to the BAT Vi-Flow standard.

3.     Support of the rollout of a BAT-wide uniform maintenance software (SAP EAM) to ensure a homogeneous software usage.

4.     Responsible for the implementation of a regional-wide standardized spare part management in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

5.     Supports the development of efficient maintenance methods, strategies and standards in accordance with the TPM and CIP principles.

6.     Responsible for the coordination and execution of trainings. All listed areas require for a sustainable implementation a qualification of the maintenance organization.

7.     Responsible and organize maintenance related best practice and lesson learn sharing within AP region.

8.     Implementation of maintenance KPI standard within the regional organization/ plants. Leading the KPI measurement and reporting within the region. Ensure a continuous monitoring of maintenance performance and identification of unused potentials. Responsible to implement a proper loss management within the plants.

9.     Participate and support the maintenance budget process within the plants & region.

10.  Supports the further development of existing maintenance methodologies and standards regarding innovations, trends and benchmarks in the market in order to continuously push the improvement and digitalization of maintenance. Close cooperation with the Industry 4.0 team for ongoing digitalization projects.

11.  Other tasks/projects as assigned by direct supervisor.  

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

1.     Bachelor’s degree in a mechanical discipline.

2.     Familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS word, MS excel, MS project, MS power point.).

3.     Familiarity with TPM principle and Lean production principle.

4.     Bilingual in Chinese and English, fluent English speaking and writing

5.     Have knowledge of maintenance procedure and production environment, have maintenance experience of product/equipment similar as Benteler.

6.     More than 8 years working experience on plant maintenance department in automobile industry.

7.     Have professional spirit and have good team work spirit with strong problem analysis and solution ability, strong cross-department communication and coordination ability.
