Ideal candidate is expected to help us foster stronger cross-functional collaboration to yield better business plans, decision-making, and financial results.

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will assist and potentially lead in-depth financial analysis, and develop fact-based recommendations to help business teams make informed business decisions. You also need to understand financial operations of the business and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to monitor budget adherence and provide consultation about the financial performance of your respective area.

Your daily responsibilities will include but no limited to below:

Project accounting

• Taking charge of the project accounting team and be responsible for complex projects/studios.
• Partner with studio directors and design managers on fee management, accounts receivable, profitability analysis, etc. Able to deliver 1-1 reviews independently with senior technical people on project financial review
• Consolidate project related reporting and analysis.

Accounting management

• Support the finance director to manage daily accounting matters. Oversee monthly closing, reporting and analysis, with a focus on Shanghai office first and then expand to the whole region (BJ and HK).
• Active involvement in FW initiatives and projects. Participate global conference calls as appropriate.
• Working closely with office managing directors, studio directors and design managers to maximize projects and office profitability.

Financial planning and analysis

• Support the finance director on regular and ad-hoc financial/operational analytical work.
• Support the forecast and annual budget process. Liaison with multiple functions such as marketing, HR, IT, etc. on setting operational expenses budget.

• A mid to senior level accounting or finance professional with 8-10 years of solid experiences. Minimum 2-3 years supervisor/management experiences.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. Outstanding English speaking and writing capability.
• Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationship.
• Strong knowledge of PRC and US GAAP. Good understanding of China tax regulations.
• Results driven, detail oriented, self-motivated and proactive.
