Major Responsibilities:

·       Interface to the customers, suppliers and other company functional teams  representing engineering;

·       Provide technical services to customer. like: feasibility study, assembly assistants, production launch, trouble shooting;

·       Analyze and discuss with customers on product requirements during RFQ phase to make technical proposals to acquire new business;

·       Prepare technical proposals, Engineering Part List to CQA team to run business case

·       Lead the entire project engineering team to deliver the engineering assignments to meet the project timing, cost, quality target as per corporate engineering development processes

·       Deliver the engineering process document in compliance with development processes as well as automotive Spice requirements;

·       Co-ordinate and liaise the prototype builds during the development phase with the support from rest of the engineering team;

·       Support EPS system engineers, E&E engineers in diagnostics and vehicle tuning;

·       Support the validation engineer to complete the DVP/PVP

Key Competencies:

·       Engineering experience in mechanical/Electronic of automotive industry, EPS or steering gear product experience is preferred.

·       Experience of Application Engineer is preferred.

·       Good automotive component / system engineering development project management capability is preferred.

·       Strong ability of system failure analysis, trouble shooting and problem solving.

·       Knowledge of quality systems in automotive industry.

·       Knowledge of CAN bus or vehicle electronic parts development is a plus.

·       Good inter-personal and communication skills is a must

·       Basic oral and written English, proficiency is preferred.

·       Good learning attitude, self-discipline, pro-active, highly committed and able to work with tight deadline and under high pressure.

·       Willing to travel (domestic and international).

Education and Experience:

Educational:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or a similar technical field. Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.       

                         

            

Experience:

3 or more years of experience in design and manufacturing of mechanical-electric parts systems/components in automotive industry.

Rich project experience with chassis part.

Understand customer work flow like COEM(SAIC)/GM/Ford/VW etc…
