The sensor application engineer is responsible for applying MEMS sensors/products into external customer applications and internal evaluation systems, as well as evaluating the sensor’s performance. The requirements for this position are included but not limited to:

1. Develop and maintain sensor test platform/tools

2. Define and implement the test cases to evaluate sensor performance

3. Develop and maintain the sensor driver and applications

4. Support customer to integrate the sensors into customer’s system

5. Cooperate with sensor development team to continuously improve the products

6. Cooperate with sales and marketing team to promote products into market

Key Qualifications:

? B.Sc. in computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering (with 3+ years of relevant experience)

? Good understanding of microcontroller operation, microcontroller peripherals and systems

? Experience in PCB design and familiar with the EDA tool, like PADS, Protel, etc.

? Experience in soldering and PCB manufacturing arrangement

? Experience in hardware debugging tools, like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.  

? Good understanding of Bluetooth/WiFi technology, SPI/I2C/I3C protocol 

? Ability to work cross-functionally

? Solid problem solving and leadership skills

? Strong communication and presentation skills

? Ability to travel (10%)

? Fluent English in writing and speaking

Preferred Qualifications:

? M.Sc. (with 3+ years of experience) 

? Experience in MEMS IMU sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) and modules

? Experienced MCU firmware in Linux/Android

? Familiar in Matlab and/or Python development and data analysis
