This role will be focused development and maintenance of WeChat mini-program backend systems and APIs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-sale technical consultation and project planning including solution design, cost estimation, user story definition and refinement
• Collaborate with business analysts and UX/UI designers and ensure the overall solution will meet the expected functional, performance and security requirements within designated budget range and find a reasonable balance between system scalability, easy-to-maintain and reusability
• Work with frontend developers on overall solution architecture, web services integration and implementation of test automation
• Conduct system detailed design and develop high quality backend code (with unit tests) independently
• Set up CI/CD environments on public could platforms (e.g. Aliyun, Azure), configure relevant tools and process and deploy code packages to corresponding environments for internal/external testing and go live
• Interact with project managers, business analysts and testers during entire project lifecycle on task breakdown, effort tracking, requirement clarification and quality assurance
• Present completed system features to internal and external stakeholders and collect valuable feedback
• Maintain backend codebase for existing projects and conduct code refactoring and performance optimization when required

• Stays up to date with technical trends on WeChat platform and overall web development technologies

• 独立开展系统详细设计并高质量地完成后台代码的开发（包含单元测试）
• 搭建基于公共云平台（如阿里云、Azure）的CI/CD环境，配置相关工具和流程，并将代码包到部署到相关环境进行测试和上线工作
• 在整个项目周期中，与项目经理，业务分析和测试人员密切配合，参与并完成项目任务的细化，进度跟踪，需求确认和质量管理
• 向项目组成员和客户展示已完成的系统功能，并收集有价值的反馈意见
• 维护已开发项目的后台代码库，并根据需要进行代码重构和性能调优
• 积极跟进微信平台和网站开发技术的发展趋势和技术演进

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a WeChat Official Account, mini-program backend developer and system APIs developer
• Familiar with either Java or .Net and master its prevailing development frameworks and technical evolution trends
• A portfolio demonstrating your past work on WeChat and web/mobile sites

• Proven experience in either WeChat Official Account, mini program or WeChat Work and familiar with WeChat backend configurations
• In-depth knowledge on WeChat ecosystem, server-side data exchange and cloud functions
• Practical knowledge on public cloud platforms’ configuration and deployment (e.g. Aliyun, Azure) including environment setup, load balancing, data encryption and backup and monitoring
• Familiar with integration with web services APIs
• Organised and can work autonomously and manage own workload
• Highly collaborative team player who can operate in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in English – written communication
• Tertiary education in computer science or relevant disciplines

• 优秀的书面和口头沟通能力
• 良好的书面英语交流能力（能读懂和回复英语电子邮件和即时消息）
• 计算机或相关专业本科及以上学历
