Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the success of Valtech’s global clients in China market. Application support manager acts as the primary point of contact of assigned clients and responds to support requests and new requirements raised by clients.

Role & Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for day-to-day support requests and application enquiries from assigned clients
• Ensure all services are being delivered as outlined in the relevant Service Level Agreement
• Responsible for managing issue resolution and delivery of incident reports if required
• Develop and manage change management process
• Provide guidance on client’s future technology adoptions and enhancements
• Drive accountability within all areas of the business to deliver required results
• Proactively identify and action opportunities for process improvement
• Contribute to the development of the team by participating in team meetings, business forums/committees (as required) and sharing information
• Identify opportunities to further strengthen the relationship with clients

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum 3 years’ experience with application administration or development
• Ability to work confidently with new applications, software frameworks and business / IT processes
• Experience with business software applications including ERP, eCommerce, content management and WeChat
• Demonstrated software problem documentation and analysis skills (e.g. accurate issue definition and preliminary investigation)
• Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Good business acumen, stakeholder management and change management skills
• Strong communication and highly developed customer service skills
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tertiary education in information technology, business or relevant disciplines

You would also benefit from any of the following:

• Previous working experience in a digital agency

• Previous exposure to ITIL and IT Service Management.
• Familiar with content management systems (e.g. Sitecore), eCommerce platforms and WeChat mini-program solutions
