Job Description

This role will be focused on UI and user experience design for WeChat mini-program and web/mobile sites as well as creative design for digital assets such like marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will be able to take design briefs from our clients and deliver visually appealing and user-friendly design concepts. Therefore, we need somebody who is passionate, thoughtful, and creative.

Role & Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to form design briefs, present design ideas and gather feedback
• Create industry leading UI designs for WeChat mini-program and website
• Design digital assets and marketing material for use on digital marketing channels such like WeChat and Weibo
• Analyse and define the design approach by using best practice UX research methods to maximise customer conversion
• Apply UX and UI best practice principles to ensure designs are accessible and conducive
• Design icons and infographics to convey meaning quickly
• Work with internal and external stakeholder to ensure briefs are understood and executed efficiently
• Provide clear design specifications to the development team

• 向软件和系统开发团队提供明确完整的设计规格文档

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a UI designer in the digital space
• A portfolio demonstrating your past work on UI design for WeChat and web/mobile sites

• Proven experience in using design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Thorough understanding of design best practices for visual and UI design
• Organised and can work autonomously and manage own workload
• Highly collaborative team player who can operate in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
• Ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders with confidence

• Stays up to date with industry trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in English – written communication
• Tertiary education in visual arts, design or relevant disciplines
