工作职责:

China Business Development

Location: China, Shanghai is preferred.

Overview: Responsible for developing new business development activities in China for STA, WuXi’s small molecule pharmaceutical development and manufacturing division. The position works closely with all WuXi BD and marketing team members and other STA senior management to develop and execute the most effective strategy to increase API and drug product sales in his/her area of geographic responsibility.

This position is responsible for developing new accounts, and subsequently managing and growing existing accounts. This position works proactively with other business unit team members, such as other STA BD team members, Marketing, Project Management, Technical Groups and Operations to assure objectives and goals are achieved.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute plans and programs for existing accounts in his/her geography to grow each account

- Develop strategies and tactics to gain new business

- Works proactively with the teams to achieve sales revenue targets for key accounts and new accounts.

- Reports on progress of BD activities and provides regular updates to STA management teams.

- Ensures that various data sources are available and well utilized in order to provide competitive intelligence, tracking and analyzation of the competitive landscape.

任职资格:

Qualifications:

-5-10 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical development (API and/or formulation). Experience in CRO, CMO is preferred, but not required.

-5+ years of sales, project management or sourcing experience.

-Must have a proven track record of success meeting or exceeded goals/targets.

-Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, highly flexible, with excellent communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills). Must be organized and detailed-oriented.

-Proven experience in creating successful business development plans and processes. Marketing experience preferred but not required.

-Excellent English communication skills both in verbal and in writing.

-A professional degree and training in Chemistry, pharmaceutical science or other related field is required. -Ph.D or M.S. degree is preferred, Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) nice to have but not required
