To co-ordinate the work of subordinates and maintain the established procedures and policies.

To communicate efficiently with the kitchen.

To lead the training programme for staff in all aspects of food and beverage as well as the WA service standards.

To create a good working atmosphere and build a team in order to increase morale and efficiency.

To enforce the personal appearance of the staff and punctuality.

To greet guests, handle comments and problems whenever required and promotes sales to meet forecasted revenues.

To recommend menu items and beverages to guests, as well as taking orders.

To converse with guests to maintain a good relationship as well as extending personal touch.

To make requisition for supplies in order to maintain stock level.

To monitor that budgeted food & beverage revenue and cost are keep in target.

To prepare weekly duty rosters.

To hold daily pre-meal briefing with staff.

To set up a regular and VIP guest system.

Handles complaints and reports to Director of Food & Beverage or Ass. Director of F&B in his absence all deficiencies.

To suggest ideas to the management and implement promotional activities in order to generate extra business.

Across an immaculate courtyard is a new-build contemporary tower located parallel to the Bund, on Sichuan Road.
