China Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research Co. Ltd (CNIBR) is currently seeking to fill a research scientist position in Biology Department. Self-motivated scientist with strong interest in drug discovery studies for liver fibrosis/cirrhosis is welcome. The candidate will apply cell biology, molecular biology and biochemistry expertise on drug target validation, assay development, novel target identification as well as mechanistic studies. The candidate is expected to have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and works in a fast-paced environment. Oral and written reports in English are also required regularly.

Candidates should hold an M.S./Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field and have at least two years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in cell signaling. The successful candidate is expected to have strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication in English, and ability to function in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential.
