Job title: Test Engineer

 

Scope:

?      Assist the leader to make the new project quotation, to do resource arrangement, controller and fixture confirmation, to calculate working hours. Summarize these information to the group leader to ensure complete the new project quotation

?      Communicate with global and customer to reach an agreement for the suspects of test standard and outline or the ambiguity of test standard and requirement. The standard must be provided by the customer.

?      Arrange test resources for the new project and develop DVP/PVP. Review DVP/PVP with the project team and leader to ensure its rationality.

?      For the global project, obtain the DV test status, complete the comparison between DV and PV test outline, and confirm whether the DV and PV test methods are consistent with global.

?      Communicate with supplier to confirm the fixture, including car body, equipment, controller and external resources. Complete related technical agreement and PR request and finish the acceptance report to accept the equipment.

?      Participate in the project meeting on time to ensure timely communication between the lab and the project team, and seek the support of the project team for the unsolved problems in the Test plan review tracking list.

?      Complete the relevant DV/PV and IES test according to the test conduct procedure and complete the corresponding test report in time.

?      Determine the third party according to the customer's requirements for the subcontracting test, make application of PR and issue PO cooperate with IPD, tracking test status, review test report and complete service acceptance report.

?      Send issue report to the corresponding project engineer and plant quality manager according to the test failure problem, and completed the registration, tracking and reporting of test issue tracking list.

?      Complete the functional area work support and the related test report on time according to the work plan and team leader’s arrangement.

?      Instruct the technician to complete the DV/PV test together and buy off the test result and confirm the test method to ensure the accuracy of tests.

?      Be responsible for communicating with customer about test deviation.

?      Complete global Project Learning.

?      Implement the lab 6S management process and safety management process strictly to ensure 6S qualified and zero safety accidents in functional areas.

?      Take an active part in internal and external training to improve skills and ensure pass the internal evaluation of the company.

Report to: Test Supervisor (Project testing)

Work directly with all validation department members and related projects team members

 

 

Specific Requirements

Educational level/Experience: Bachelor degree or equivalent Automotive / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics

 

Functional Competences and skills

·         Roof systems, components and techniques common in the automotive industry.

·         Test techniques used in automotive product validations on component and assembly level.

·         Knowledge of test and measuring equipment.

·         Data acquisition software, e.g.Labview.

·         English for international communication is preferred.

·         Be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

·         Good communication skills.

·         Problem solving techniques.

·         Rigorous work and has strong sense of quality.

·         Has strong sense of responsibility and team work.

Inalfa Shanghai factory is located in Jiading Industrial Zone, Shanghai. Since 2015, it has won the gold medal of advanced manufacturing industry in Jiading District and Jiading Industrial Zone for many years. At present, Shanghai factory has 8 mature independent skylight assembly lines and 4 glass edging lines. At present, the factory has a total number of 500 people. By 2020, the sales volume has reached 2.5 billion yuan. By the end of 2021, the annual production capacity is 700000 skylights. On average, one skylight can be delivered offline to customers every two minutes. Our main customers include Volkswagen, GM, Ford, Geely, Jaguar Land Rover and other mainstream car companies. The second phase plant of Shanghai factory will be put into construction in 2022.
