Position Summary

EyeBuyDirect is seeking a dynamic individual to add to the success of our E-Commerce team as a Senior Front-end Developer. Reporting to front-end manager, the Senior Front-end Developer will be responsible for a wide range of marketing tasks in a dynamic, exciting, fast-paced, responsive, results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Developing highly responsive user interface components with React

·  Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

·  Working with front-end team in an agile environment

·  Optimize website for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers   

·  Collaborate closely with UI/UX team to understand & deliver their requirements

·  Suggest improvements to existing system and processes

Key Requirements:

·  Strong proficiency in Javascript(ES5/ES6)

·  Thorough understanding of React.js

·  Experience with popular React.js workflows (Flux, Redux etc.)

·  Experience in Typescript

·  Experience of common front-end development tools, such as Babel, Webpack, NPM

·  In-depth knowledge of mainstream Cloud platform (AWS is preferred)

·  Next JS is a plus

·  Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
