The job:

You will lead and support all HR functions for the China team, in our office and our attraction sites. Our start-up office location shall base in Pudong, Shanghai.

This is a fast-moving and dynamic organization where there is close partnership with the business. It is an exciting time in our company, as we continue to grow and expand the business.

In this job you will:

• Manage full spectrum of HR services of China, not limited to Compensation & Benefit, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Performance Management and other ad hoc HR projects as required
• Participate in the acquisition and development of an HRIS
• Ensure compliance with China labour law in all facets of the business
• Coach, develop and lead HR team to reach their goals and aspirations
• Monitor the talent acquisition process and ensure the right approach to find the best candidates to meet our operational needs
• Review HR policies and procedures to ensure they reflect the business requirements
• Identify and create HR analytic reports to draw insights and inform the business
• Support and collaborate with regional HR team and HR leaders on various regional/global HR initiatives & projects

To be great at this job, you will have:

• At least 6 - 8 year's Generalist experience, with 3 -4 years leading a team. A university degree in Human Resources or related disciplines
• A strong knowledge base in Republic of China labour law
• Exposure to payroll practices and HR systems, knowledge and experience in recruitment concepts, practices and procedures
• An action-oriented style, are resilient with a pro-active approach to problem solving
• Sound interpersonal skills with a highly collaborative style and ability to effectively communicate to all levels
• A passion for growing and developing people
• An ability to think outside the box, think creatively and take initiative
• Industry experience in entertainment, retail and/or FMCG is preferable
• Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
• A good understanding and knowledge of other human resources disciplines and ability to apply that knowledge to business situations
• Demonstrated ability to apply rational thought process, judgment, and a corporate perspective in focusing HR strategies and work on business issues
