KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Learning the teaching programme of Mathematics, actively participating in teaching activities; providing support in class; assisting the maths teachers in recording the students’ learning progress; assisting the maths teachers in preparing lesson plans and teaching materials; building a good relationship with the students.
2. Assisting teachers in school events.
3. Maintenance of all maths teaching resources in the storage room.
4. Assisting the Head of maths in procurement.
5. Organising stock and materials.
6. Translating articles about maths department events.
7. Assisting in preparing maths trips.
8. Taking over maths class when teachers are absent.
9. Attending meetings as requested by academic leaders and principals.
10. Other assigned work as requested by the Head of mathematics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS：

Basic Qualification 

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree
2. Major:  Mathematics or Education related subject.
3. Language: Native Chinese speaker and fluent in English, minimum CET-6
4. Teaching qualification Certificate for Primary or Junior High
5. Support Huili  Value

Experience 

1. Outstanding communication in English and Chinese
2. Strong learning ability
3. Familiar with Office software

Preferred Aptitudes 

1. International and bilingual school working experience is preferred
2. Cross-cultural working experience is preferred
3. Demonstrating practice that represents the five core values of Wellington at all times (courage, integrity, kindness, respect and responsibility)
4. Strong passion for the education industry
