Main Functions and Responsibilities

Collaborate with demanding planner to guarantee the product supply by fact and data support

Collaborate with sales and marketing team to provide appropriate reporting to illustrate business insight to support commercial teams with efficient data driven decision making.

Collaborate with customer excellence team to optimize the order to cash process and optimize the sales productivity and decrease sales time sink

Work with commerical team to optimize sales forecast & analysis：by segment, region, distributor, product SBU etc.

Digitalization tools adoption espeically SFDC System Management (Sales Force Dot Com): Update, Maintenance, Training. Optimize commercial data flow and visulize the data by digital tool such as M-insights, etc.

Authorized distributor operations, e.g. AD sales performance, inventory data collection, end user analysis, hardware install base etc.

Qualification

Expect 10 years of experience with business analysis, customer excellence, supply chain.

Advanced working knowledge of BI tools (e.g. tableau, SFDC, etc.), excel, power point and other related tools.

Life science industry background will be a plus.

Critical thinking and analytic orientation

Problem solving and teamwork are the key abilities

Position Requirements

Good English communication skills in both written and oral, Japanese is a plus

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

Ability to work in align with Merck policy and global strategy.

Open to changes, and ability to lead and manage change to support new key initiatives implementation.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a time pressure environment, through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
