This is a Product Manager role reporting to the R&D / Technology Manager in the Business – Motion located in Shanghai, China. As a Product Manager, you will manage and develop the LDM’s product offering from a market perspective. You will be responsible to define product marketing, strategy and pricing mechanism for segment and application, work with FES to ensure growth target of Order and Margin on overall product portfolio.

- Defining Product Marketing strategy and pricing mechanism, being responsible for the product marketing, strategic marketing plan for domestic and allocated regional markets on M2BAX Platform. Overseeing competitive analysis and market segment definition activities. Identifying, monitoring, maintaining and exceeding the sales market price levels, evaluating pricing impact on the results.
- Ensuring the growth target of order and margin on M2BAX platform, working with FES to better support the order increase on M2BAX product platforms, following the pipeline in Sales force to offer the needed cooperation actively and achieving assigned growth in orders, margin and related objectives. Working with Front End Sales on evaluation of potential new and existing customers and their needs and approach with a focus on solutions.
- Driving smooth collaboration between domestics FES and back end technical support and operation, organizing effective SOP to ensure high service level to customers, continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Product planning & optimizing, prioritizing initiatives and developing business case, for new product development or optimizing existing ones, determining product positioning, targeting customers and value proposition to implement market-oriented philosophy. Developing consistent short and mid-term product plan and roadmap with right alignment to DM’s, continually optimizing the product competency by upgrading technical performance or by cost-out scheme.
- Working on daily Product Market Performance Management, overseeing the M2BAX product’s market performance (profitability, volumes, new customers, delivery, etc.) bimonthly, conducting regular review meeting with relevant parties (FES , Operation, etc.) to analyze the GAP, and setting up corrective action plans. Taking in charge of product pricing and maintenance locally. Securing the validity of cost information in the sales tools on regular basis.
- Working with management, approving special price discount application from regional sales teams, working with FES Team and monitoring the competitions’ price dynamics in the market.
- Improving promotional and marketing communication programs (successful story, software tool, exhibition, etc.), evaluating competition (competitors and products) on regular basis.
- Working with relevant parties (FES , R&D, etc.) to develop annual product budgeting & to plan required resources. Aligning the financial target with LDM’s goal by solid action plan, keeping close contact with DM counterparts for strategy alignment.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree in automation, electrical engineering or other majors related.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing of Automation Products, Global working experience is preferred.
- The knowledge of IEC LV Motors is preferred.
- Must have good PC skills, Microsoft office.
- Must be proficient in English and Chinese.
