General Purpose:

    

Responsible for all import/export activities and processes Responsible for domestic inland transportation Responsible for warehouse management

    

    

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    

   Prepares import/export shipment documentation as required by customs regulation, while apply for various certificate for import purpose.

    

  Customs HS classification.

    

   Coordinate with forwarders, couriers, brokers and 3rd party warehouse to ensure all shipments can be in and out smoothly and successfully.

    

    Provides guidance and assistance to other departments within the local organization, working closely with finance, purchasing, customer service, sales and project management.

    

    Process internet EDI for taxes and duties payable.

    

    Checking monthly bills with forwarders, couriers, brokers and 3rd party warehouse.

     Provide expense budget and monthly payment request to Finance, provide taxes and duties statistical tables to Finance, provide taxes and duties bills to Finance.

    

   Operate NAVASION systems: posting daily in-warehouse and out-warehouse.

    

   Manage 3rd party warehouse and handle related affairs.

    

    Be a team member for annual audit project.

    

    

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    

     Extensive knowledge of standard import/export concepts, practices and procedures.

    

     Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    

     Exceptional organization skills and coordinate skills.

    

     Strong level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

    

     Ability to work independently on projects and function effectively in a team environment.

    

      Proficient with computers utilizing Windows based programs.

    

      A combination of manufacturing and freight forwarding experience a plus.

    

      Familiar with customs and foreign trade related law and regulation.

      Familiar with related business in bonded area.

Education/Experience and/or Training:

    

     Bachelor’s degree in related area, or equivalent experience and training that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities.

    

     Minimum of 5-year experience in logistics field.
