Position Summary

  

Strengthen the environmental management system. Support the environmental activities for 4 plants in China. Build compliance management system based on correspondence of environmental regulations.

  

Key Responsibilities

  

• Support the environmental compliance action of 4 plants. Collect and analyze environmental regulations regularly, provide advice and support for plants to deal with the challenges brought by laws and regulations changes.

• Work closely with CAPTC to promote the implementation of group environmental activities. Based on GBS or CAPTC’ request, survey and collect information or data from 4 plants and feedback timely.

• Based on global and CAPTC action plan, track the implementation of Bridgestone global environmental long-term target in 4 plants, collect and analyze the data from each plant regularly, insure the target will be reached as planned.

• Translate accident report, share the reason and countermeasure of environment accidents to prevent the recurrence.

• According to the CNQM department plan, based on the latest regulatory database, update the checklist regularly and participate QM management audits two plants every year.

• Support third-party audit according to GBS requirements.

• Establish the system to reduce the environment risk of suppliers.

• Support ISO14001 management and audit in each plant.

• Translate BS group Global environmental standards and other document timely and share with 4 plants.

Job Requirements:                   

• Bachelor degree or above.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Environment management field.

• Familiar with environmental laws and regulations.

• Strong at data analysis, project planning and reporting.

• Good ability on communication and coordination.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

• High level of integrity, respect for others, persistence, and passion for success

• Language proficiency: English is mandatory  (other language(s) are added advantage)
