As a member of the Corporate Internal Audit team of Linde plc you will directly report to the Head of Internal Audit Hub Asia-Pacific. You will primarily support in:

Identifying and assessing fundamental financial and business risks, thereby ensuring the sustainable commercial success of the business

• Reviewing the efficiency of all business processes and procedures
• Monitoring the reliability and effectiveness of management and other controls
• Monitoring the compliance of regulatory requirements and the Linde plc Code of Business Integrity
• Providing independent, pragmatic advice and defining adequate preventative and detective measures
• Monitoring the implementation of agreed action plans

Responsibilities:

You will primarily carry out audit projects in Asia-Pacific (with focus on Great China), mainly covering, but not limited to, the following topics:

• General Financial Audits (e.g. order to cash, procurement to pay etc.)
• General Operational Audits (e.g. plant operations, bulk distribution, cylinder supply chain management etc.)
• Project Audits (e.g. business case, post investment review, project execution, commercialisation etc.)
• Compliance Audits (e.g. corporate governance review, anti-trust audit, anti-corruption compliance audit etc.)
• Compliance Investigations
• Special topics per management request

Requirements:

• You shall have a Bachelor or Master Degree in finance, natural science or a related field.
• Ideally you shall have 3-5 years' postgraduate work experience in an international environment. Big 4 audit experience or experience in Internal Audit, Consulting or a similar position is a must.
• Proficient knowledge in accounting and financial controls.
• Your technical skills are supplemented by strong analytical and conceptual skills, attention to detail, excellent cooperation with other team members and strong verbal communication skills.
• Due to the international nature of our organisation your English language skills should be business fluent in speaking and writing. Any other foreign language is seen as an asset (especially Korean).
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). Experience with process and data mining tools (e.g. Celonis, IDEA) and other software skills (e.g. SAP) are seen as a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel (around 20%) on outside assignments is a prerequisite for the job (1-2 weeks per trip).
