Main Responsibilities:

- Set up EHS work frame, to make sure SHA & Shanxi EHS work at same management level

- Ensure a safe work environment by developing and maintaining the appropriate programs, policies, and procedures while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations

- Provide strong leadership in contracting, influencing and communicating EHS related programs and initiatives to both individuals, teams and site management, as well as towards external authorities

- Develop and applies new approaches to effective training and communication of safety, health and environmental topics to employees and managers

- Direct EHS compliance and management programs, ensuring compliance with all EHS laws and regulations and company standards

- Ensure that the EHS policies, procedures and programs for the site are are developed and effectively implemented and maintained in a timely manner

- Ensure environmental impact of new processes and equipment is assessed and that where needed environmental objectives are formulated

- Keep current on EHS regulations, accepted standards and reporting requirements, and evaluate their effect on operations

- Organize periodic audits (internal and external) and inspections of facilities and operations to assure compliance with company policies and procedures and with legal and regulatory requirements

- Participate (as appropriate) with government agencies in the development of applicable EHS laws and regulations

- Prepare the EHS policy, objectives and targets of respective sites (SHA & Shanxi)

- Exert influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of the site (SHA & Shanxi)

- Interface with management at all levels in order to understand and address any EHS issues

- Ensure that the EHS programs of the contractors are appropriate

Main Requirements:

- Minimum bachelor degree

- Minimum 5 years working experience in relevant areas

- Major on Environment Engineering/Safety Engineering/Chemical Engineering other relevant areas

- Required to work independently

- Experiences in establishing Environment, Health & Safety Management System (ISO 14001 EMS & OHSAS 18001) are preferred

- Experience in Chemical, Mechanical, Process industry

- Self starter & highly motivated

- Basic written & communication English

- Have National Safety Engineer Certification is better
