Brief Description of Roles (i.e. purpose of role) 

1. Tank allocation

2. Fleet management arrangement

3. Coordinate & execute NMT action points

4. NEA monthly loads performance analyzing & reporting

Key Activity 1 – Stock Control  

• Liaison with Commercial, M&R and Ops to minimise “downdays” of the fleet in the region of responsibility. Implement best practice.

• Propose and initiate appropriate action(s) to improve utilization and keep stock at an acceptable level in the region of responsibility.

• Regular review of fleet status administration, to prevent equipment being idle or “lost” without notice

Key Activity 2 – Repositioning Control

• Initiate intra regional repositioning.

• Manage and administrate regional repositioning expenditure.
• Work with NMT and Pricing to move in necessary adjustments for the NMT model.

Key Activity 3 - Reporting

• Timely weekly/monthly fleet status reports in respect of stock, imbalances and downdays for region of responsibility.

• Weekly/monthly reports on repositioning in respect of moves and spend for region of responsibility.

• Weekly analysis of new orders accepted. Report those which are not in line with the agreed guidelines.

Key Activity 4 – Performance Analysis

• At request of Fleet Manager/NMT to provide analysis support (e.g.: detailed/specific trade lane analysis, reviewing utilisation as well as profitability analysis, equipment type analysis, etc.).
